peble bluetooth problems

hi everyone i just got a motorola peble and i'm trying to download some ring tones from my wife's razar, but every time i try, it starts to download and then it pauses :doh, it goes only to about 8% an

check to see if the tones your trying to transfer are locked on her phone - if they are, you would have to unlock them before they can be transferred.

i checked and the tones are not locked. i even tried using someone else phone and the same thing happened.

have you "paired" the phones so that object exchange brings up the pebl on the list when you attempt to copy from the razr?

yes i did that. when go to the song on the razar that i want.... then hit copy, on the peble hit the bluetooth sym then go to set up then find me and on the razar go to look for device then the razar will say one device found ,hit ok on scan result then it says seeking peble after the razar finds it and i hit select and i accept the transfer on my peble the two phones says copying and they go up to 8% and then thats it. no mater how long i leave them.

when you tried another phone, did you try it with both of yours to see if the v3 is functioning ok?

yes i did and it was working ok. do you think there is some thing wrong with this phone, like a defct?

have you tried sending something from the pebl to another phone?
does it work ok with a bt headset?

no i never had a headset but when i send something from the pebl to another phone it works ok.

ok - just so i'm straight - the V3 sends and receives ok, the pebl sends ok but won't receive. have you tried sending something other than a ringtone - like a photo? also, who is your provider and where did you get the pebl?

yes thats right. and i got the pebl from best buy
