Thinking about getting a SK3.

Hello SK3 users. Well, I've always admired the SK from a far, but never got up the nerve to plop down 300-400 for a SK, but I guess you can say the urge has hit me? Lol Anyway, I've done some research on it and from what I can gather, its a okay phone, but a even better text/web browsing device; which I'll be using it for. I also see that there are some issues with the scrolling device on the SK3. Should this factor in to me not buying the SK3? I've read about the screen not being too sturdy and that it feels easy to break. I just wanted to get feedback from Sk3 users first-hand before I buy such a big purchase. Also, would it be better to go into a contract to get the phone or should I just save up and pay for it flat out and go pre-paid? (299 vs 399 may not seem like much but for me it is). I won't be using any voice features (Got Verizon for that). And it seems like its dangerous to be a SK3 owner, as I keep reading different pieces on owners getting robbed and such. What are your thoughts on that? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks guys. Sorry for the essay Lol

If you are only using the phone for data you might as well go prepaid, same cost as postpaid ($1 a day prepay data, 30/month postpaid for data only w/o a voice plan). I would say it's worth it because you don't have a contract you need to terminate if you are unhappy with the service.

That being said, I LOVE my SK3 so far. Best phone I have had yet.

Thank you for the feedback! And yeah, I don't think I'll be needing a contract. Guess I'll be treating myself to a Sk3 this christmas. Thanks again.
