Bell Razr - Battery Issue???

Ok this one is weird...

I purchased a Pink Razr for my wife about a month ago. She doesn't use the phone very much (27 mins lifetime timer since end of July).

Anyway...she normally leaves the phone OFF in her purse until she gets into the car.

What she has found is the battery has DIED (phone will not turn on) if the phone has been sitting for a few days OFF.

I charged it again...showed fully charged ..... same thing again after a few days being FULLY OFF.

She took to the phone back to the Bell World store...they gave her a new battery which was charged up.

This time I told her to leave the phone ON - it lasted about 4 days in standby. The phone again was charged - this time she shut it OFF and put it in her purse...two days later...the battery is DEAD...the phone will not turn on.

So it's being charged again....

Anyone have any ideas as to why the phone would DIE when OFF???

Cheers
Rob.

A friend of mine had a similar problem but his problem got fixed after he changed her battery. Maybe you should buy a battery from another vendor. Or discuss it with the motorola people directly.
