Is there an application that runs on the vx8300 that will allow playing AAC music files (specifically those that are iTunes encoded)?

I posted in the main LG Forums and someone replied about re-encoding the AAC files as 3g2 media files... I just want a player that will play my music without me having to go re-encode all of my songs to MP3 or 3g2.

Nope, the phone can't play AAC. It's MP3, WMA for music or nothing.

If you check out any of the video encoding tutorials, they'll specify that when setting up a video for the phone, you have to use AAC audio for the video file.

The phone has the muscle and brains to encode and decode AAC-- the question is whether there is a piece of software out there that supports AAC that can be used in place of the standard media player. THAT is what I'd like to see in a firmware upgrade... or available as software from a third-party. :-)
