KX5 Wallpaper Madness

I have about five or six pictures that I saved on my TF card that I use for my wallpaper. I switch every once in a while to a different one depending on my mood.
Well.....when I go to MENU > SETTINGS > DISPLAY> WALLPAPER I get a list that looks like:- None
- Dance
- Pop!
- Bubbly
- Techno
- Mod Wave
- Tuscany
- Speedster Chic
Those are the stock Wallpapers but then it goes on to the pictures that I used from my TF card, but it seems that everytime I change it saves it again so the list continues like this:
- PictureA
- PictureA 01
- PictureA 02
- PictureB
- PictureB 01
- PictureB 02
- PictureB 03
and so on.
My question is, of course, how do i delete the repetitive Pictures. There is no option to delete the wallpapers. do I need Phone tools to do so, or is there something I am missing. I assume eventually it will use up the alloted memory and I won't be able to add any new Wallpapers.
As much as I love this phone there are little things about it that drive me crazy. This is one of them. The alarm clock problem I posted earlier is another. I wonder what else I'm going to find. It almost seems as if the product wasn't tested very well or not a lot of thought went into the software. For what this phone costs this is unacceptable. I tried the razr and now i think i should've stayed with that, and i dislike motorola considerably. I miss my LG vx6100.
US Cellular needs better phones... immediately.

After thinking about it, I realized that once i save a wallpaper from my TF card to the wallpapers list, the best thing to do is select it from the actual wallpaper menu instead of from the pictures stored on my TF card to avoid saving the file multiple times when I want to switch.
Still, it doesn't help when i want to remove wallpapers from the list. Eventually the list will fill to capacity. anyone know what that capacity is? Will the Kyocera phone tools software allow me to delete them? I looked on ebay and will order my kit soon, seems i'm gonna need it if me and this phone are going to get along.

okay i think u have to got to my media and then go to images to delete all the extra wallpapers u have so try that and see what happens

that worked, thanks a bunch. I would have never thought to do that. I know i should start a new thread but i just downloaded kyocera phone tools ver 3.34 KWC build 004 for my kx5 remix. I found the usb data cable TXTDA10102 on ebay for 20 is this what i need to access my phone.

Thanks for the info but i want the phone tools so I can try some of mods i read about on the forums. Not to mention I have about 60 or so phone numbers from my old phone that i can't get on my new phone because i don't have the darn usb cable. I miss being able to sync with my laptop.
I used susteens data pilot software to sync with my LG, but it's not compatible with the KX5

ur not going to do any mods with phone tools u need other software

I realize that and it seems they are somewhat easy to locate throughout the forums, just mostly concerned that the usb cable i found was the correct one. I'd hate to spend $20 on the wrong part.

to access the internal files u need to QPST and thats where most of the mods take place

I got qpst just yesterday, wasn't hard to find at all. I'm going to practice with it on my LG before I start messing with the Kyocera. Still waiting on the usb cable for the kx5.

btw. I traded in my original Kx5 for a new one to solve the alarm clock problem I had. the first alarm wouldn't work and I couldn't turn it off. Got a new one last night so far so good. I found a great USCellular agent location, when I told the guy my problem he said an exchange would be no prob. When I got there he had already tested one out of a new batch. He mad sure I had the most recent ESN (I hope that means most recent software update) and that all the alarms work.
