I have a Vodafone Mobile Broadband card for my computer. It is actually a rebranded Option Wireless Globetrotter 3G Quad card. Does anyone know if I can use other companies SIM cards in this unit, or a way to check if I can (some sort of software tool)?
Thanks!

Well, as far as I know, the first thing you need to test is whether it is unlocked. Datacards can have locks just like phones can.
The second thing you need to do is see if there is anything like Access Points, IP addresses, Proxies etc that you can enter/change.
I have never owned a datacard, but these are the sorts of things I would check for with a new phone, but with a new phone, its easier since it has a LCD display that tells you if it's unlocked, here you have to go by what the computer is doing, and since I have no experience on this, I can't give you a proper answer.
