Is there something im supposed to configure on the phone to be able to send MMS messages? I am unable to send MMS messages. T-Mobile says there is nothing for them to do on their side. Someone please advise, thanks.

Yes, YOU much set up the MMS settings on your phone in order for it to work on your QTek 8500

If found this for MMS setup: Obviously you will need to reach the settings based on your phone, not the joystick method described here...but the settings should be the same once you get to MMS settings

Setting up the MMS profile

On the handset, press the Start button.
Scroll to More and press the joystick button.
Scroll to More again and press the joystick button.
Scroll to Configurations and press the joystick button.
Scroll to MMS Settings and press the joystick button.
Press the Menu button.
Scroll to MMSC Settings and press the joystick button.
Press the Menu button.
Scroll to New and press the joystick button.
In the Name field, enter Picture Messaging.
Scroll to MMSC URL field and enter http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms.
Scroll to WAP Gateway field and enter 216.155.165.050.
Press Done.
Scroll to Picture Messaging and press the Menu button.
Scroll to Set as Default and press the joystick button.
Press the return button once.
Scroll to Connect Via: and select WAP Network .
Press Done.
Press the Home button to return to the main screen.
