Yes and no, you can improve the volume by editing your midi and adjusting the volume of the file itself (kinda like how music has ppp-fff as it's ranges for volume, so do midi files.


However, i've heard some people say that raising the volume of the midi to max + aplified volume of speaker to max = distorted sound, so perhaps you are reaching the limits of the speaker and not the limits of the phones audio system.

You can increase your volume in Windows Sound Recorder. Atleast you can do it for wav files. There is no distortion on increasing the wav file volume and it is quite clear.
