Need a new phone...

I've been reading for the past few days on what phone to get. Basically I have a RAZR right now and I dont like it at all. My wife and I like to text message back and forth, and it takes me forever. So, I'm looking for something with a QWERTY keyboard. Now, I don't really want to add a data plan so the phone will be used for texting and voice only for the most part. The other main use will be using it as a organizer (calendar, etc). I would also prefer something with MP3 ringtones. I'm not eligible for an upgrade right now, but I'm willing to pay a little over $300 for a phone. Here is what i've come up with:
1) Cingular 8125 - A bit of overkill for my usage, but being able to use the wi-fi at home to stream Sirius and other media would be pretty cool, and I have wi-fi at work so that covers most of my usage area.
2) Blackberry 7290 - Fairly cheap on ebay, though i don't think it has mp3 ringtones. I realize not having a data plan with a BB is neutering the device, but if it does what I need, and well, then it would be worth it.
3) Blackberry 8700c - Same comments as 7290, a tad pricier than I wanted to pay, what does this model have that the 7290 doesn't?
Thats pretty much it, any comments, other recommendations, or any help deciding would be appreciated. Thanks for the help!

Wirelessly posted (Nokia 6620: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; PalmSource/hspr-H102; Blazer/4.2) 16;320x320)
Treo 650??? The Treo has a chat feature when you start texting a person that looks someting like MSN Messenger. Pretty cool.

If you're looking for a smartphone with a qwerty and wifi, I'd suggest checking out the Nokia e61. I bought one new off of Ebay and LOVE it!!
