Need help enabling AIM on Razr

I have an unlocked Razr. I monsterpacked it a while ago. I don't remeber which one it was, but the s/w version is R374_G_0E.42.0ER

The problem is that I don't have an option for aim anywhere in my menus. I have the option to change the notification sound under ringstyles, but no option to acutally start aim. I checked in motokit and I have aim enabled. I also tred creating a menu icon for aim with menu editor but that didn't work either.

I've checked in all the other programs I have to see if there is something I'm missing but I don't see anything.

I also deleted a bunch of stuff off my phone that I didn't want a while ago too. I used a guide from motox.info on what is safe to delete. Is it possible I deleted whatever aim is run off of? I have all the backups of before I started removing stuff but I don't know what to look for in the files.

At this point, I'm stuck and not sure what else to check or what I might be missing

do you see the icon in the menu? if you see the icon but it does nothing, probably your current firmware doesn't have AIM function.

I don't even have the icon for it, I've gone through all the menus even after making sure I enabled aim and the icon still isn't there

hmm, well I can't edit the last post. but When I added the icon with menu editor, it never appeared on the phone, when I restarted the phone it still wasn't there. When I went into menu editor again, the icon was in the list when I loaded it to the computer from my phone. both the motokit and another program say that aim is enabled on the phone.
