v600 white screen

Hi
I don't know what happened to my phone, but when I woke up this morning, I flipped my phone open and the screen was all white. I left my phone recharging overnight, i dont know if that has to do with anything. I tried flashing the phone to retail and cingular firmwares. When in bootloder screen, the whole screen works, but after its done flashing and rebooted the phone, the main screen is white again. Any sugeestions how to save my phone before I toss it out??

i had that problem with a phone and it was the ribbon cable. had to replace it and worked fine now. might be worth the try to fix instead of tossing.
