i have had both of these phones through cricket service...

the v262 and the v265 were quite similar the only real noticable difference was the camera on the v265. they both were good phones with nice features, but not able to take any water or liquid on them at all. now i know youre not supposed to get phones wet obviously, but a very small amount fried each of these phones, my contacts couldnt even be recovered afterward, so be extra cautious i guess... my kyocera energi and slider remix both have gotten wet and have dried and functioned without a problem

If they even get in humid weather too that little indicator might turn even though the phone functions fine its called water damaged. On second note these phones are tough as nail droped one on concrete twice and only got small dings and rash on one side the other one before tht one i dropped from top of stairs and had no damage there tough little phones dad has mine now.
