Ok well at work today I really messed up my New lgcu500.

I had it in my pocket and then ran into the corner of a desk...
Well turns out that the outside screen is completely cracked and busted AND also the inside screens pixels are really messed up too.

Basically i want to know if i can do anything about this. I really cant afford a new phone right now

I Just got this phone 3 weeks ago with new 2 year contract. Is there anyway to get a replacement???

You have a 30-day "no questions asked" trial period. You should be able to get another one through Cingular free. Since it's busted, I'm not completely sure about whether they'll give you another one FREE, but I'd definitely check with them quickly.

The 30 day "trial period" assumes that the phone is returned in good condition (undamaged). No, the OP is not going to get a replacement handset unless he pays full retail price.

LoL yea i know, but i had to ask.

Anyways, i went to the store i bought it at today and they said of course i couldnt exchange it or nething...
But the guy there was really nice and he said he could sell me one for 150 with a 50$ mail in rebate. He just has to locate one and will give me a call back.

Hopefully it works out.

I am out of my trial period and my SLVR went for a nice swim in a cooler at a party on Saturday. [whoops...]

I am out of my trial period and have been in contract since January 2006.

Need some options. I can't take it in there they won't do anything.

Just buy a new phone off Ebay or buy a prepaid Cingular phone and just stick your SIM in there.

The hardest part is finding a phone that can compare to the SLVR. I got mine for $100.00. Refurb!!

Obviously I'm not one to blow big bucks on one. But I am not going to be happy with a little gophone.

Matt i do to dont feel bad. some people just dont have a sense of humor.

Anywho back on topic.. if you have a damaged phone talk to lockline. If you don't have insurance then i don't know what your going to do.
