Anyone here work at a Cingular Call Center? I recently went through the SIM Test and had an Interview today. It was pretty odd though. During testing we were told after the Interview we would be offered a job if they liked us and we would end up seeing our tester for an Employee Welcome packet. Well today 3 out of the 8 of us that were tested passed and got an Interview. 2 out of 3 of us walked out and were told that they would hand in our resume and interview results to the Hiring manager and we would get a call in 1 to 2 days if they wanted to hire us. Now the 3rd person came down stairs was told to sit and wait. And out comes our tester from yesterday with a packet. She pulls her aside and they start talking.

So I can only conclude that they are not open enough to say your not Cingular Material. And you wont be getting a call in 1 to 2 days thanks for applying apply again in 6 months....Meh maybe I am misreading things. I can only hope and pray that the Hiring Manager likes what he/she sees and gives me a call.

Yeah thats what I read somewhere else. That they would hire pretty much anyone. They seem to have I dunno WE NEED YOU Standards. I failed to get in at the Verizon and Sprint Call Centers...I Passed the Sims at both centers. Verizon Interviewed me but decided to go with someone better....Sprint just said we decided not to take you to the next step. Would not even interview me. Cingular on the other hand. I passed their sim. Got an interview...I just really hope I get a job offer..... From what I have been reading it's easy to get hired but most quit after 3 months. I only personally saw 1 guy quitting while I was there.
