i recently got a LG CU500. I love the phone but it is very hard to find simple answers to what headphones to use for this. Im looking for something like the motorola HT820. I'm not looking for a headset, just something to listen to my music while working out or jogging. I read the specs on the motorola bluetooth headphones but it said that it only supports Bluetooth v1.2 and im pretty sure the LG CU500 is v1.1. Someone please help me with any suggestions. Is there a way i can do this. If not, i feel that the LG was not brewed up what it was supposed to be. Thanks

The Motorola HT820 will work wit the LG cu500. They both support the A2DP bluetooth profile and will be compatible.

The Motorola HT820 headphones work great with the CU500 music player. I have a pair of the HT820s and a colleague of mine just got a CU500. I am thinking of getting one myself, so I asked my colleague if I could check his out. The headphones paired just fine. The music player and the headphones both sounded great. I wouldn’t worry too much about the Bluetooth version since most devices tend to be backward compatible with the previous versions.

I launched the Cingular Video service and played a news clip. Even though I was still using the Bluetooth headphones, the sound began to play through the phone’s speakers. I spent about 5 minutes trying to find a setting that would make Cingular Video and other streaming video play through Bluetooth, but never found anything.

Does anyone know if this is possible? I switch from music stored on my memory card to video streams via the internet frequently throughout the day. Aside from the impracticality of having to carry around both a pair of wired and wireless headphones, I just refuse to go back to a wired headset of any kind period. If someone has figured this out, I would very much like to know.

Thanks
