Has anyone had success putting ring tones on a memory card and getting Windows Mobile 5 to recognize them?

I have built Application data/sounds directorys but no joy. Maybe a registry HACK??

Don't put them in any folders, just leave them in the open storage card directory. Your phone will see them there, and you will even be able to assign ringtones to specific contacts with them in that location (unlike on previous versions of WM).

Or you could put them wherever you want and use rjv tonesetter. I believe it works fine on wm5, but even if it doesn't it's free so at most your out a few minutes of your day.

you can also place them in Storage Card/my documents too and its picked up just the same
