DUN via Bluetooth RAZR as Modem only

Greetings,

I finally got my RAZR to be accessible from my laptop via bluetooth. I have successfully paired and created a DUN connection for the phone. The issue is, when it goes to dial, it shows the correct phone number in the display on the phone (IE calling... 999-9999), then I hear 3 quick tones (similar to the tones you hear on a landline when you dial a non working number and just before the voice comes on to tell you the number is out of service.)

I get the "online" icon on the phone for about 2 seconds, then the three tones, then the "online" icon goes out and DUN comes back with the standard "error connecting...do you want to redial" box.

Does anyone know if either MOTO or Cingular is blocking the ability to use this phone as a cell modem? I have access to a dialup ISP and would like to use the phone just as a modem. NOT to connect to Cingulars web service.

If so, are there any hacks or seem edits that I can employ to enable this service?

Thanks.

P.

I think you would need to have Cingular add the ability to make CSD calls from your account. This is probably normally disabled.
