Does Orb not work with the CU500?? Everytime i try to view a video from my PC through Orb, it connects and then buffers but while it buffers it times out. Is it because Orb isnt compatible with the CU500 or because I would need 3G to view the video(i'm using EDGE now)???

it works on edge and 3g. look for a thread about this orb and cu500 issues

It doesn't work on my Edge so I have a feeling Cingular has disabled non CV video streaming on Edge. I traveled to a 3G market last week and my Orb worked fine so I know the software is configured correctly. We'll just have to wait for 3G.

It's kind of frustrating because it was working beautifully before they disabled it. Edge has plenty of bandwidth to stream decent quality video.

i hear you buddy...i know for a fact zoovision.com 's streams worked for the w600i using edge, but when i got the cu500, no worky no more! So i guess cingular did disable it. come on we need 3g in florida! The elderly demands high speed!

Why would they disable it on EDGE? What would be the reason?
