hi guys...i'm lame and bought an 02 xda mini II on craigslist. The phone worked great for about 4-5 months...then one day , i could not hear the caller, but they could hear me. The phone works with an ear-bud or on speaker, but not with the regular built-in ear piece.Now it is just a PDA and i have tried so many tricks, ideas, etc. I have read tons online (i see i am not the only one with the issue) and even tried to replace the speaker. I am super comfortable with openign and taking this guy apart...so yesterday, on a close examination, i noticed the two copper contact points on the board have a bit of depletion. I am wondering if it is not the speaker but where the speakers prongs touch the copper. So, is there a self repair to replacing that copper?

or am i way off base and someone out there knows a great fix from experience?
