I had the setup working well before, and then had a harddrive crash. Now I got a new harddrive and reinstalled the SP1 of windows XP and I can't get it to recognize drivers past the Motorola USB modem. I tried the method with the UID program and that produced the same results.

I've been trying to get it working for a day now...there's something I'm missing, hopefully I can get some help.

-Does MPT need to be installed? I haven't done that yet.

-Can someone give me a step by step thing of specific settings that the phone should be set to when you try to install the P2K drivers?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try updating to service pack 2

Install MPT first....Then using driver pack 2.9 install PST then RSD lite if you want it and you will be up and running....
