Ringtones from other Wireless Carriers?

Is it possible to somehow get preset ringtones off of a mobile phone and back onto the computer? or a site where I can download ringtones for free that come on another Wireless Carriers phone. I'm from Canada and my friend has a phone from Telus Mobility and I really like the ringtones that come on his phone more than the ones on my Aliant Mobility phone. Is there any site/way to get these ringtones onto my phone via Trasflash card?

Have your friend get a cable and download the tones form his phone to a computer, then move them to your phone. Or if both of your phones support OPP, he can just send you the tone directly.

If you're looking for free ringtones, you can just make your own, or find soe websites that offer free tones. If you look on torrent trackers, sometimes people will upload their own ringtones.

But I thought that you couldnt put the stock tones onto a computer? I have a cable that we could use if it is possible though. Whats OPP anyways?

You can pull stock tones form a phone to the computer.

OPP stands for Object Push Pull - it allows 2 bluetooth handsets that have the OPP profile to send each other fiels via bluetooth.
