Stay with T-Mobile (and purchase MDA) or go with another carrier/phone?

I'm in the market for a PDA phone with wi-fi and bluetooth. My contract with T-Mobile expires in 4 days so I have the option to switch carriers as well. I'm currently on the 3000 anytime minutes for $49.99 plan which with additional text messages and taxes comes to around $63/mo. I've read alot of reviews and they seem to be mixed. The processor seems awefully slow for a phone this new. I've seen Sprint's 6700 but it's not as compact and their rate plans aren't as good. However, if it's a better phone with more "neat" features I'd be willing to budge on the plan. What would you guys do? Are there any phones on the verge of release that I should wait for? I can only spend $300 MAX.
