It's no mystery now that Verizon is going to start selling the iPhone. On February 3rd existing Verizon Wireless customers can pre-order it online, with general availability coming February 10th. Pricing is in line with the AT&T iPhone, though Verizon has yet to announce iPhone data plans (will likely be the same as their current smartphone data plans).

Verizon customers: do you plan to switch from another device to the iPhone, or does what you have suit you fine?

AT&T iPhone customers: are you switching to the Verizon iPhone due to network performance or other issues or is everything fine and/or you prefer to keep simultaneous voice and data, greater global roaming capability, and potentially faster 3G speeds?

Customers of other carriers: now that the iPhone is coming to Verizon are you going to make the leap into the iOS world (if you've had a bad experience with or been leery of AT&T)?

All in all, how much do you think the iPhone finally coming to another carrier in the U.S. is going to shake up the U.S. wireless market?

Let us know in the comments or discuss in the Apple and Verizon and AT&T forums as appropriate.

If the latest round of rumors pans out, Verizon will be holding a special press event on Tuesday January 11th in New York to announce the addition of the iPhone to their lineup. Rumor also has that it could be a joint announcement with Verizon President Lowell McAdam and Apple CEO Steve Jobs.

What do you think? Is this finally (finally) happening?

If so who will be switching carriers/devices for the iPhone?
