I'm thinking it doesn't really matter. Any S4 with NA bands should be flashable with Google firmware. Just download and flash, like flashing a carrier Nexus 4 with Play store firmware from Google....

Yeah, instead you have to worry about being able to start the stream in the first place. If the stream does start then to deal with the constantly buffering video and the low quality stream.
If it IS a refarm, I cant imagine how many customers they lose because theyre thinking service went downhill, when its actually being upgraded to perform better than before.
