• Rogers Nation-wide LTE Outage? The iPhone effect?

    *EDIT* LTE service has now been fixed as of around 9AM 10/3. Outage lasted around 15hrs. Reboot your phone if you don't see LTE.

    I'm in Oakville right now and I haven't been able to get onto Rogers LTE with any of my Rogers lines since before 7pm EST today. I'm stuck on HSPA.

    Is it due to the new iPhone 5? Did Rogers just get iPn'd?

    Looks like it's a Nation-wide LTE Outage. Rogers is saying they're working on a fix.

    One member PM'd me suggesting it's a HSS problem.

      Yes, I'm in BC (Burnaby right now) and my LTE has been dead for the last few hours. I was wondering what happened.

      Edit: After having had LTE for a week, 3G seems uber slow.

      Not only LTE... in generally voice/data down in my area (Agincourt) starting from 7:00 EDT until just now just restored.

      No LTE in Vancouver either. I also have random network drops happening right now.

      No LTE for me in Oakville either, and the 3G keeps turning off as well and I keep loosing my data connection it looks like its trying to jump on to LTE but can't.

      I just gave Rogers Business Tech Support a call. They said they are aware of this issue and they are currently fixing it right now.

      They're saying it's just happening to one number customers.

      FWIW my iPhone just gave me a 'Could not activate cellular data network'.

      RON is a piece of junk. You put that in the mix and your wireless goes all wonky without warning.

      I need a working wireless service...just canceled RON.

      No lte in Montreal either! Iphone 5 is eating the whole network alive!!
      Update: i have no service at all even with full bars with 3G!

      Verizon had similar issues that were caused by a failure of the IP Multimedia Subsystem and had to break that system into multiple pieces.

      I'm in Saskatoon and service has been worse than usual today. Also, have never been able to get onto LTE.

      Toronto downsview no LTE, HSPA shuts down every few minutes foe about a minute or so. EDGE is solid like a rock. I switched my S3 to Edge only
