Good. Now everyone who is desperate for an iPhone can get one and we can all see if it saves T-Mobile (or not).

I must admit, I'm glad T-Mobile finally wised up and decided to carry what everyone has been asking for.

Nowhere does it say iPhone. It could just be a iPad not a iPhone.

First of all, Apple products is not the same as iPhone. Could just be that they are selling ipads and ipad minis.

Second, the press release that both Tmonews and Verge used as the source, doesn't seem to still contain the language about the Apple products. I don't know if it was deleted or the links were changed:

      Wow....hell has finally frozen over.....

Apple finally getting off their high horse and bringing the iPhone to T-Mobile....and just a couple of days before the Mayans predicted the end of the world....must be a sign of the apocalypse.....

Hopefully this means Wind and/or Mobilicity in Canada will eventually carry it as well.

Besides the cost, I also have to wonder about frequency support. T-Mobile has been hobbled by the lack of AWS support in the iPhone. While T-Mobile is in the process of refarming 1900MHz to 3G, unless Apple adds AWS support for 3G, many T-Mobile customers will be stuck on Edge in those areas where refarming has not occurred.

I wonder if they will develop/install a WiFi calling app for it. If they do, I am totally moving over.

      From that link:

In addition, T-Mobile USA has entered into an agreement with Apple to bring products to market together in 2013.

By the time Tmobile starts selling the apple products, they will have LTE running and pcs hspa.

Same phone att has. Apple has two options. Sell iphone on all carriers like they do in canada.

Tmobile might shock everyone at CES 2013 and sell the iphone 5 like verizon did with the iphone 4 last year.

Unless they wait til apple annual iphone announcement to hit the ground running.

I believe DT had to turn the tables. Tmobile usa had no choice but to sell apple products.

Not an issue to add AWS 3g since most chips apple uses has AWS for LTE. Just add it for 3g. Not a hard task.

That's the point. Apple may not charge T-Mobile that much money to carry iPads. I don't see that Apple will greatly reduce their requirements that they imposed on Sprint. So until DT specifically mentions sales of the iPhone, I won't believe it to be true.

You can look at it by saying Apple products in it meaning ipads and not iphones but I believe by saying Apple products, they more so mean not limited to iphones.

Dreams can come true, folks: T-Mobile and Apple have entered an agreement and will be launching products beginning next year. The announcement was posted (nearly as an afterthought, oddly enough) as part of a press release in which Deutsche Telekom spelled out its financial plans through 2015, while COO Rene Obermann also made the announcement in an investors conference. While the two companies have not explicitly given specifics on which Apple devices we can expect to see in a retail store near you, we wouldn't be surprised to see new products from Cupertino hitting the shelves around the same time as the fourth-largest US carrier's LTE launch in 2013.

T-Mobile has made no secret of the fact that it has long been interested in carrying Apple products, as several executives have made mention of it. The company already boasts over a million unlocked iPhones in use on its network, which is currently undergoing an expansive 3G refarming effort on iPhone-friendly (amongst other quad-band phones, of course) 1900MHz frequencies. We've reached out to T-Mobile and Apple for comment and will update this post as we hear more. For now, check out the press release in all its glory below.

Update: PCMag's Sascha Segan reports that T-Mobile CEO John Legere "is implying that the carrier will launch an as-yet-unannounced iPhone model."

Update 2: We pinged Apple for additional comment, and while a spokesperson was pleased to "confirm the news," they couldn't add "additional details."

Update 3: We also reached out to T-Mobile and were told that additional details would be given at a later date.

I think it will probably be the iphone, I think Tmobile would have to be retarted to advertise "apple products" and say later they're carrying anything less than the iphone.

Yay! Sprint is toast. Let T-Mobile beat them to the punch with some So Cal LTE rollouts and we will be back on track.
