Just got word that multi-view support is coming to the Samsung Galaxy Note II. This feature was previously found on international versions but left off the North American one for some reason. The latest Note 2 Jellybean 4.1.2 adds this feature so you can run 2 apps simultaneously split-screen. It's a great feature, you can pull up an email for an address, open up a second window with Maps to find it and then reply to the email all while having both on the same screen.
To access multi-view you press and hold the back button. After a moment a customizable tool bar pops up with links to your favorite apps. Tap one to open it in a second window. You can resize the windows by tapping and holding the divider between.

Further, going forward, any other phone with a big screen really has to have this feature to be taken seriously. After all, what else are you going to do with the extra screen space?
