    Hard to believe now, but I used to have a bag phone similar to the one in commercial #5.

      I had one of the early flip Motorolas like #6, even had Cellular One service and everything. I think it was like 50 cents a minute or so to use the thing.

      A friend had the motorola flip and another had the brick sized phone. And I still remember "Car Phone" that played on Dr. Demento.

      10 years ago my dad gave me my first cell phone (it was his old phone and he upgraded). I could barely fit it into the front pocket of my jeans. I didn't mind, I was the coolest 13 year old.

      it was very very similar to the large phone on the right.

      Wow - blast from the past! That was my second cell phone! An Ericsson GA 628! It was very small for the time, very lightweight too, but battery life was not great compared to other phones from that time.

      I don't think cellular radio telephones will catch on. It's just a fad.
