• Urbanspoon receives quite a few updates on iOS

One of my favourite apps, Urbanspoon, has gotten a pretty big revision bump for iOS.
You can now select your restaurants based on a filter of your choosing. Some examples are hottest (based on bloggers etc) availability, price and a few other's to boot

When I boot up the app I get hottest in Toronto based on location.

You can also now play with the interactive map up top, flinging it around and looking for restaurants.

There are also nice new pictures based on the cuisine, American, Indian, Italian etc etc etc if you have a craving for a certain type of dish.

All and all a very nice upgrade in look, feel and functionality for an app that essentially answers the age old question, What do I want to eat and where?

The reality is, both of the Big 2 are fairly good speed wise for most of the places you can go. They both have weak spots. Again, that shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
