• Apps you wish you had on Android

Are there any apps you've used on other platforms you wish you had on Android?

I want Logos Quiz. There is a version of Logo Quiz for Android but it's not nearly as fun as the one on iOS.

A good drum set app. Android can't handle multi touch at fast paced speeds. This is something I hear iphone does better.

Ulmon Citymaps2go and Garmin (offline maps).

Found others that are similar, but are not as happy with (ie. mapdroyd, Copilot)

I moved recently and have lots of small projects to do. A lot of them involve measuring. I really like My Measures Pro for iOS. You use it to snap a picture and then you can add lines to it. It's much easier than drawing things and writing the measurements down. It will come in real handy when I have to do crown moulding later.

Nokia Maps. Especially now that AT&T Gophone has tightened the data plans. I have been looking at offline, stand alone, turn by turn navigation apps. But, they all seem to have mixed reviews.

      Get copilot -- very excellent.
Nokia maps is (1) junk, (2) nokia is hostile toward android, even to their own demise.

I can't think of any now, since Flipboard is now headed into Android.

I wish they had Lens Light! I like the girly heart "lights" that you can overlay on your pictures... So cute!

It's available on iPhone as well. Just go to HowardForums with your iPhone/Android/Windows Phone, when the pop up asks you if you want to get the HowardForums app choose yes and it will take you to the respective app store.

I first started using Pocket TV Browser on Palm TX. I later ran it on my first smartphone....a Windows Mobile device. More info (can't post links yet) at doublebit.com.

No problem, one thing to note though is that the free version doesn't allow exporting and only up to two elements.

"Jetpack Joyride". When I had my iPhone, my daughter loved that game. But I switched to a Galaxy SII, and it's the only game that I can't find on the Google Play store.

To take off a apps defaults on IPhone you need to go settings>apps>manage apps then you find that app and scroll down to "clear defaults ". Useful if you decide you want to use a launcher you gave buthave one already set on default.
