IN the T-Mobile store I noticed an offer of a small business plan. We are a small nonprofit so I asked about it. In fact all levels at T-Mobile we have contact say that nonprofits qualify. I called business sales and was told I had to go through the store because we are a nonprofit. So I took all the info, IRS certification and taxpayer ID, to the store who sent it to the small business sales. They rejected it because we do not have a business license, which where we are located, are not issued to nonprofits. So I asked to talk to someone who could help in resolving this. No, you can't talk to the people who could fix this. So I wrote to their resolution department, which is the only way to contact them, and got a response back that they were not opening any new sole proprietorship accounts without taxpayer ID#s. Since we are not a sole proprietorship but a corporation, and we have a taxpayer ID#, as was noted in detail in the letter we sent, I would have liked to correct their mistake, but the only way to contact them again is send another letter. So that's what we did. The result is another voice-mail saying to go through the business sales people. No way to contact them and point out that if they had read the two letters, they would know that is what we already did.

Trying to contact the corporate office just gets you a rude operation who tells you to write another letter which apparently will reach a person too stupid to understand it. Does T-Mobile really not want our money? Why do they make it so hard to give it to them?

My wife owns an old flip phone. We are leaving Verizon for TMO. I have an iPhone 4s, but I'm actually wanting an iPad mini for iOS and a different phone this time. She's overwhelmed with choice as she's only borrowed my iPhone to play with when getting on Facebook or using apps. She played with a Windows phone liked the interface, saw the Blackberry Z10, was impressed. Sees the HTC One and Samsung GS4. Tough choices. She's the type to buy a phone and keep it for 7 years. She really has done that. She's young - 29, so thoughts?

She'd primarily use it for texting, Facebook, twitter, and news apps. Not a huge techy
