Anybody know if there has been any talk that MetroPCS is going to be getting the S4? I have heard some discussion on it, but haven't heard anything for sure. If they are going to be getting it, any idea or links that show what could be a release time? Is it possible to pick one up from T-Mobile and use it on Metro now that they have merged?

I'd like to hear from this forum regarding Metro and AIO.
Metro (TMUS) and AIO (T company) will directly compete each other very soon once Metro launches new 15 market.
It looks like Metro has better plan than AIO. And it will be HSPA+ as well.

What do you guys think? Who's more attractive to you?

I want to hear from you so I can make right decision when those options become available.

My current PRL is 3032. I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area. Can anyone confirm that this is the latest PRL? I did a *228 update and it stayed at 3032. I read somewhere tat there is a 3033 but can't get it with *228. I want to be sure I will be able to use the TMobile and Metro network.

I am currently using Metro PCS. Previously I was with T-Mobile. Now that the merger has been finalized, when will I be able to use my T-Mobile phone (HTC MyTouch 4G Slide) on Metro PCS.

Most important is said MetroPCS LTE will be about to use T-Mobile LTE in Las Vegas tonight.

"Ray said the integration with MetroPCS' LTE network "is actually moving very well" and that as of tonight customers on Metro's LTE network in Las Vegas will switch over to accessing T-Mobile's LTE network there."

Hello, I have some answers to the MetroPCS Merger questions I have seen on recent topics.

First, MetroPCS will be offering all new phones as GSM phones, will be phasing out old CDMA phones, (huge sales coming soon on them)

As of June 1st 2013 MetroPCS will have sim cards ready to activate any GSM Phone that will run on T-Mobile's network For example if you have a iPhone, you can use it on MetroPCS on June 1st (GSM Version) Even Unlocked AT&T iPhones or any unlocked iPhone that will work with the T-Mobile spectrum bands.

MetroPCS will be coming out with 2 feature phones. One Flip, One keyboard (rumored Sam Freeform 4)

MetroPCS will still be offering the $25 unlimited Talk and Text after June 1st on these devices, also the $40 and $50 plans for the feature phones.

Also they will still be offering the $40, $50, and $60 4G rate plans for the older and newer 4G LTE GSM phones that will be coming out.

So get ready to have a badass network and badass GSM phones you can purchase, or BYOD.

Be aware any GSM phones that are Blacklisted for non payment, lost/stolen will not work on the GSM network that Metro Will be using as it is T-Mobiles network.

i have recently gotton my metro pcs galaxy s3 wet and fried it,tried the rice method with no success, i was looking into new logic bords (motherbords) but all i can find are from other carriers, att verizon ect. would one of those work? they say locked but if i eraced all the data from it once its installed and installed the metro operating system through oden (which i have) would those logic cards work with my metro sim??? i need some help thanks so much any advice would be great

Is Metro selling any phones now that are comparable with T mobile? I want to get either the LG Spirit or Samsung Galaxy 3, but not if they are only gonna work for another year or so. Is the Metro G3 CDMA and HSPA? Please advise, thanks-

Does Metro PCS have a pay as you go plan? I did some research and they got reviews for $20 pay as go, but couldn't find it anywhere on their website.

As MetroPCS shareholders voted in favor of a merger with T-Mobile yesterday, the company announced its first quarter 2013 financials. The good news is that MetroPCS is making money with a new income of $19.4 million for the first quarter, down from $21 million a year ago. Metro announced that they expect the T-Mobile deal to close on April 30th.

Metro recorded their lowest quarterly churn on record at 2.9%, the lowest in company history. The company also announced they now have 3.5 million LTE subscribers which equates to 39% of their entire customer base. The LTE subscriber increase recorded a bump in 1.2 million users over the end of the last quarter of 2012.

“Today, by an overwhelming majority, our stockholders approved our combination with T-Mobile USA. This combination offers both immediate and long-term compelling economic value to MetroPCS’ stockholders and we look forward to completing this combination on April 30, 2013. As a combined company, we will create the value leader in the U.S. wireless marketplace,” Chairman and CEO Roger D. Linquist concluded.

First Quarter 2013 Highlights Include:

Quarterly consolidated total revenues of approximately $1.3 billion, an increase of 1% over the first quarter of 2012
Adjusted EBITDA of $291 million, an increase of 11% over the first quarter of 2012
