I am thinking of switching to Verizon Prepaid from Virgin Mobile. The thing I love about VM is I can get nearly half priced top up cards off ebay and I will really miss this with Verizon. Is there any place where I can get Verizon card that are discounted? Thanks

The LG Revere 2 (basic flip phone) for an astronomical $119.00, and the LG Cosmos 3 (qwerty slider) for $59.99. Both seem to be just minor updates to their previous models, and come with $15 in airtime instead of the usual $10, which suggests that these may not be available in the normal prepaid packages you see in stores. I remember the Cosmos 2 came with $15 and I never saw that in a store with the rest of their prepaid offerings.

I just saw on Verizon's postpaid offerings that they have released two new LG basic phones. I wonder if they will be part of their upcoming 2013 phone lineup for prepaid since they tend to update their offerings once a year or so and its been about that long since the 2012 bunch of the Gusto 2 and Intensity III.

The LG Revere 2 and the LG Cosmos 3 are available and possible candidates since the original models were packaged as prepaid at one time. I know no one gets excited for basic phones anymore, but there is still a small market for them and their inexpensiveness. Plus, they could be part of the new official launch of their new $35 500 minute plans and packaging.
