I've installed Wicked ROM on my GS3, and during install you have the option of 5 launchers, here's the question. I had it installed the stock TouchWiz launcher so I'd have it as an option, but also installed Holo and that is set to default. Although TouchWiz isn't my default launcher, is it still running at some level eating battery? Or totally inactive unless I use it?

I was wondering if anyone knew how to check the lifetime minute usage on HTC Desire C. The phone has been reset by the way so all the meters are at 0 in the settings. I did some google searches and tried *#*#4636#*#*. It says Dialer-38626 ms, Settings-3135 ms, Usage-2591 ms. But I am not sure what that means. Please help

Hello all, well, the title says it all, I got my Asus Fonepad in the mail not too long ago, and am LOVING it. The screen and features of it are great, and running on an Intel processor and a GB of ram, it's got some serious power for an Android phone. However, I am interested in rooting it. I don't know too much about Android rooting. However, I did manage to root my S3 awhile back, following a step-by-step tutorial. This one hopefully someone here will be able to guide me through or at least point me in the right direction. Thanks so much for your time!

Blackberry Messenger is coming to Android (and iOS) this summer.

Should be interesting to see how this plays out for Blackberry. Will it cause users to leave BB for Android and iOS or will it bring people back to BB now that they're not only limited to Blackberry users.

What about you? Will this cause you to go back to Blackberry?

BBM is loved by customers for its “D” and “R” statuses, which show up in chats to let people know with certainty that their message has been delivered and read. It provides customers with a high level of control and privacy over who they add to their contact list and how they engage with them, as invites are two-way opt-in. iOS and Android users would be able to add their contacts through PIN, email, SMS or QR code scan, regardless of platform. Android users would also be able to connect using a compatible NFC-capable device.
BBM has more than 60 million monthly active customers, with more than 51 million people using BBM an average of 90 minutes per day. BBM customers collectively send and receive more than 10 billion messages each day, nearly twice as many messages per user per day as compared to other mobile messaging apps. Almost half of BBM messages are read within 20 seconds of being received; indicating how truly engaged BBM customers are.
Today, BlackBerry also announced BBM Channels, a new social engagement platform within BBM that will allow customers to connect with the businesses, brands, celebrities and groups they are passionate about. BlackBerry plans to add support for BBM Channels as well as voice and video chatting for iOS and Android later this year, subject to approval by the Apple App Store and Google Play.
If approved by Apple and Google, the BBM app will be available as a free download in the Apple® App StoreSM and Google Play store. Additional details about system requirements and availability will be announced closer to the launch.

Hi,

Anyone else upgrade to 4.1.2 on T-Mo and have MS Exchange problems? Using a SSGS3, and ever since I upgraded to 4.1.2, can't get email with MS Exchange. Other accounts are fine. I deleted the account and tried to re-add but get "Set up could not finish. Unable to connect to server".

Does the Nexus 4 generally pickup a weaker LTE signal? I'm running LTE on mine and it seems to go from 0 to 3 or 4 bars constantly.

I think I read somewhere that it's generally weaker but I just want to confirm.
