Hey guys. So I bought the Motelona brick phone off eBay a few weeks back and decide to do the Quad-Band SEEM edit. So I troll around and find out the info and tools on how to connect the phone, what apps to use, edit the SEEM file, and re-upload to the phone, etc.

Hey guys. So I bought the Motelona brick phone off eBay a few weeks back and decide to do the Quad-Band SEEM edit. So I troll around and find out the info and tools on how to connect the phone, what apps to use, edit the SEEM file, and re-upload to the phone, etc.

So first off, like a total nub, I thought I made a backup of the original 0025_0001 SEEM file, but find out later I didn’t.
So my issue is, despite my best efforts and assuming I edited the 0025_0001 SEEM file correctly, no matter what I do I can’t get a signal on the phone now (i.e. I edit the SEEM to its original default values and then u\l it back to the phone- I get “No Signal” on the phone. I do the Quad-Band edit and then re u\l- the phone still says “No Signal”).
I also tried using the 0025_0001 SEEM file that someone had posted on an older Motelona thread already edited for Quad-band but for a V160 (I think it was) to no avail.
Every time I'd do this SEEM edit and, after disconnecting from the computer, I’d yank the battery for about 15 seconds (just an FYI).
I'm on T-Mobile

Here’s some info from P2KTOOLS:

Why, despite editing the SEEM back to its default, does it still say “No Signal”?? Did I just brick the brick (no pun intended, heh)? Do you guys think or was something damaged when opening the phone up? Do I just need a copy of someone’s original 0025_0001 SEEM?
...???

Oh, and in case the "Master Clear" and "Master Reset" codes didn't work from the manual, try this code they didn't put in the manual: 654321 (i.e. if 000000, 111111, 123456 didn't work.)
