Hello,

1st off wasn't sure where to post this...here, or the AT&T forum.

Right now i have the $10.00 unlimited data and i use an E71 as my main phone (i live in the US). Considering an upgrade to a 808 pureview or a N9. My issue is my E71 has a mini-sim and the 2 phones I'm considering take a micro-sim.

I went to the AT&T store today to get a micro-sim, and they pretty much gave me the 3rd degree and how when i get it activated i would be asked for the IMEI # and so on. I told them I want to keep my plan exactly the same, they looked at my account and said i don't have a smart phone now (which i do "e71") and if if my new one isn't one i will be ok.

My question is, should I cut down my mini to make a micro and just swap em' out, or should i actually ask to activate the micro when i decide which phone to get?

thanks so much for your help. :yummy:
