Hi, I'm from Canada and I was wondering if I could order a phone from the States and if it will work on the mobile carrier Wind. Wind uses the same frequencies as T Mobile I believe so I'm thinking I could order a T Mobile HTC One from US and use it here. I was hoping if someone could confirm if this would work for me as I do not no so much about phones, thanks :)

So wind uses AWS and frequency band IV 1700/2100 using UMTS (HSPA+? not sure what all these mean)

This is what the T Mobile HTC One supports:
GSM bands 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
UMTS: Band I(2100)
UMTS: Band II(1900)
UMTS: Band IV(1700/2100/AAWS)
UMTS: Band V(850)
LTE Band: 4, 17

btw does anyone know where I could purchase an unlocked T Mobile HTC One?
