Just got a Galaxy S4.
Am stuck on how to set a ringtone for an individual contact.

I've tried going into an individual contact and can't find the option to set the ringtone for them.

Would appreciate any help with this.

I have been using Chrome and want to use the stock browser. That's only if I can get all of my bookmarks moved over to it. I have not found a way. I have tried several apps, but nothing is moving them over.

I'm using Samsung Galaxy Note II, Rogers stock 4.1.2 firmware rooted

I was trying to remove the annoying bookmarks came with Rogers firmware... found a method on google...

using SQlite Editor; have all the entries deleted from data/data/com.android.browser/databases.browser2.db

NOW, browser can not be used. I've flashed the Rogers stock ROM one more time onto my phone, problem persist. I've looked into data/data/com.android.browser/databases.browser2.db; still blank, no entried.

Is there anything I can do to have the entries re-added or the file replaced so I can use the browser again?

I only shows SIM Lock code-1 with my AT&t non prepaid sim card in this Samsung S125g phone.

How can I unlock ?

Can someone with a Galaxy S4 confirm whether a calendar event can light up the notification LED?

On my Galaxy S3 it does not. Tried Light Flow etc but they were buggy. Closest I could do is to have calendar reminder send me an email, and the email would then flash the LED.

I'm curious (or rather, my inner geek -see the username- is curious) about the Samsung Galaxy Grand.
I am a huge Galaxy fan, and when I heard about a dual SIM Galaxy, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Can anyone tell me more about it, ie where I can buy one and how much I can expect to pay for it, as well as specifics like whether all features will work with AT&T?

Take it easy on me on this one....Example: if someone were to buy AT&T iPhone 5 (anywhere) on full price (no-contract), but later want to convert to T-mobile. They will have an AT&T device that doesn't have all of Tmobile's frequencies. They can actually go into any Apple store, and store will exchange to T-mobile version of iPhone 5 for free (Most stores will do it within 30 days and some beyond).

Does Samsung have this kind of exchange (E.g on GS4, etc.)? How? For free?
Does any other manufacturer offer this?
Or are you out of luck and will have to sell what you have and buy new phone?

first post here in a very long time, long time lurker....hello everyone!

so i just got my first smartphone. when i called Samsung they tell me since i got it from net10wireless.com they don't support it although it's clearly a Samsung phone. it's a European model which i didn't know...

i'm trying to change the notification sounds to some of the cooler sounds i've gotten over the years here at hofo, but am not given the option.

i'm trying to save my files and other goodies to the sd card, but can't seem to figure out how to do this either...

i am in construction and need a good solid phone that can take a beating. i've seem this phone run over, dropped, washed, and put thru hell, but if i can't personalize it, i'm not 100% happy.

can anyone suggest how to make it do what i'd like to in simple english. i'm willing to root it as long as it doesn't become a brick and it's a simple process, but i need some hand holding to do it

if not, i need to return this phone FAST and get something equally strong and durable. my only real must have for a new phone is i want at least android 4.0 and it's got to be att or t-mobile to use net10 service

Was wondering if there is an auto on/off you can set the phone to turn on or off at certain time like you could with a BB.

Hi everyone, just wanted to share my new PINK case I got from Amazon. yay! Actually there's a lot of colors available. Hihihi. I got some jelly case before and it was kinda lovely but I'm more impressed with my new case now. Good thing I saw it on sale. whew! Now it's only for $7 from $23. What I really like about this is the stand feature where I don't get to hold my note when i'm lying on bed. Before, it drops on my face "most of the time" lol!! And it's sooooooo easy to hold. I have Straight Talk, using a phone that connects to the Verizon Wireless Network, Samsung Galaxy Proclaim. I miss having a phone with a micro hdmi jack and a flash for the video camera. Using the navigation mode GPS, it burns up the battery even with the phone charger plugged in. Also, 4G would be nice.

What Android phones having these features would work on the ST network?
