    DEVELOPING STORY:

No names yet, but news broke internally, Tony Lacavera is out. Not bad for my estimates from last year (18 days off). We'll see more details hit probably soon with who is replacing him. It's someone from Orascom from what I heard.

ORASCOM has bought out all remaining assets from Globalive, leaving Globalive with a 0.7% stake in the company. Which it pretty much only put in about that much from the start, if even that.

EDIT: Further information is that any affiliation of Globalive and WIND are to be withdrawn as well. Leaving Tony with Globalive as his own asset, but otherwise nothing of value to Orascom and WIND. ...

And here we have it! The official Q2 2012 as released by ORASCOM. It's really some good news!
Leaked a little early, but they ended Q2 2012 with 456, 886! Looks like for once WIND isn't bloating the numbers through Tony and actually calling it as it is. And that's a good thing, we can now cautiously stop second guessing things.

ARPU dropped to $27.30 for WIND mobile in Q2 2012. ...

This morning I've woke up to a lot of great information with in WIND. First off there is another "resignation"-cough- at WIND that will immensely be beneficial to the Retail Level. It's not a known name around here, but it's a good thing he's gone from the role so the retail teams can be better supported, by a true leader who has industry insight and knowledge. The previous guy's been there since launch and probably responsible for most of the worst hirings.

Next on to the good stuff, the Q2 update.

Okay guys, here's the scoop from WIND this morning.

    457,000 Customers
A net add on of 42,000 added in Q2.
    28,000 Post paid.
    20,000 Galaxy S III's sold from WIND.
(don't know why this point is impressive but it is, wonder what the other 8000 postpaid devices were )
461 Points of Distribution (Goal is to have 1000)

In the last 6 months they added an additional 1200 network sites. (okay..)

Has anyone the privilege of participating in the beta program? Can you if your YouTube app is now removed too? It appears to no longer be there on my installation on both iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.

Looks like we're going to have rely on an official app from Google in the near future... which is fine by me, but Apple just started incorporating the share features in iOS 6 that were once missing.

If you discover any other new features or missing old ones, share them here.
