Here’s my review of the new LG Optimus LTE. The Optimus sports a beautiful 4.5” 1280x720 high definition display along with support for LTE. Other specs include a dual core 1.5Ghz processor, Android 2.3.5, 1GB RAM, 2GB storage, micro SDHC, 1830mAh battery and WiFi direct.

Without a doubt the Optimus best feature is its display. In a word, the display is stunning. I compared the Optimus’ display with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus’ which has identical resolution but is slightly larger (4.65” vs 4.5”). The Optimus sports an IPS LCD display - the same sort of technology used in many high end computer monitors as well as the iPhone 4/4s.

    From Know Your Mobile

Windows Phone 7 has won the award for Operating System of the Year at the 2011 Know Your Mobile Awards.

Inspired by Metro signage, the Windows Phone User interface provides users with an easily customisable start screen, which is focused on putting people first.

Stepping away from the sea of isolated uninformative icons used by other smartphone OS', Windows Phone integrates the user experience to deliver smarter and easier communications, apps and Internet experiences.

I don't have one to test it myself, but according to crackberry, OS 7.1.0.74 has the mobile hotspot feature enabled.

The first link is already dead. Here's a mirror someone posted. If this doesn't work, just google it and I'm sure you'll find one after a few attempts:

Here’s my review of the Galaxy S II LTE. Over the past couple of months, Samsung has been filling out their Galaxy S II line. First we had an HSPA+ only version, then we got one that supports all North American HSPA+ frequencies and now we have an LTE version.

Spotify Unveiling 'New Direction' on Nov. 30

Spotify on Monday sent out invites for a Nov. 30 press event that the company said will include details on a "new direction" for the music service.

The invite is sparse on details. "What's Next for Spotify?" it teases.

"At Spotify, we continually strive to innovate and deliver exciting new experiences for our users," a spokeswoman said in a statement when asked for more information. "In New York on November 30th, we are holding our first press conference to unveil the latest major development from Spotify—and a new direction for the company."
Spotify said CEO and founder Daniel Ek will be in attendance, as will "special guests."

To me, there's no phone that defines a company like the RAZR does for Motorola. To me RAZR represented Motorola’s peak. Everywhere I went people where using their RAZRs.

Here’s the new Motorola XT910 - the RAZR. The one I’m reviewing is on Rogers. It’s a 14.4mbps HSPA device with a dual core 1.2Ghz processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage (of which 8GB is available), 8mp camera, 2mp rear facing camera and 802.11n support on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. It’s running Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread). ...
