If you previously signed up for the email notification with Verizon you should be receiving (if you haven't already) info on exactly when and where to pre-order your iPhone 4.

As shown in the image above the pre-orders begin for current Verizon customers at 3 AM Eastern (Midnight Pacific) on Thursday February 3rd.

Who's staying up (or waking up) to pre-order the iPhone 4?

You can discuss the iPhone in our Apple forum here.

Instead of playing a cat and mouse game with people wishing to install apps on the Windows Phone 7 platform outside of the Marketplace, Microsoft is working with the developers behind the WP7 unlocking tool ChevronWP7 to encourage continued and "official" homebrew development.

...and the future is looking bright for developers and users alike seeking to install apps or customise their Windows Phone 7 device further than the Marketplace allows. In a blog post on the ChevronWP7 website, developers Rafael Rivera, Chris Walsh and Long Zheng confirm the software giant will soon offer an official way for people to "homebrew" develop on their devices, although just how this will happen is still being discussed.

Yesterday Facebook announced via their official blog a new mobile app that works on 2,500 feature (non-smartphone) phones from various manufacturers.

Today, we're launching a new mobile app to bring Facebook to the most popular mobile phones around the world. The Facebook for Feature Phones app works on more than 2,500 devices from Nokia, Sony Ericsson, LG and other manufacturers, and it was built in close cooperation with Snaptu. The app provides a better Facebook experience for our most popular features, including an easier-to-navigate home screen, contact synchronization, and fast scrolling of photos and friend updates.

I feel Verizon prepaid is getting stronger on the unlimited plan front. On the paygo side, they still have the most expensive flat rate in the country at 25 cents a minute. Still stuck in 2008 there.
