A market that isnt being pursued by the other companies ... why not go after it? and make money from the potential customers? There's nothing wrong with homosexuals (and I'm not gay but I do respect people) or companies adverstising and pursuing them in their campaigns ... or am I alone in thinking this way?

I feel that people can do whatever they want in their homes.
I don't discriminate against them. They are humans and their sexual choice is not their choice. It is just that I personally don't like seeing it. |

I do miss the Fido president too. My favourite ads from that era were the recyling of the home phones (city fido), and the free day commercial.

I don't really care about the ad about the guy being gay but I don't like Fido's image in general. Rogers seems to go after the business/professional crowd but Fido's image if very childish and fruity in general. This normally doesn't matter, but when you see a _____@rogers.blackberry.com you picture a professional businessman and when you see _____@fido.blackberry.com you think of some trendy slut who's goal in life is to pick up as many guys as possible at a club. But maybe that's just me...
