i'm looking for some regular ringtones to add to my phone, such as the tone used for bonds phone in Casino Royal. Anyone know where i could get such a tone, or have one they can send to me?

I followed it step by freakin step and my phones wallpaper doesn't change! Some other guy on here has the same problem...
Are you sure the image is 240x320 and saved in .gif format? Also, are you uploading it to a/mobile?Quote:

I have however, successfully managed to change the startup animated gif AND power off animated gif to something else.. I just replaced a 240x320 animated gif of Powerup.gif, and fido_pwr_dwn.gif under the system folder. They are both HL2 logos now :)
Why will that work but not my external screen? My phone is NOT at&t, it's fido. maybe my files are located elsewhere?

My friend is an Account Exec for AT&T and I talked to him about the what's going on with the V9's....
1. The current red mahoggany (sp?) colored phones are done being sold to the home market, but if you are a "business user" you can and will be able to order that color/model. AT&T is holding onto those strictly for business accounts and backstock swap defects.
2. The Moto Rep spoke to him in the middle of the week and dropped the hint that something new is coming on the horizon very soon. Unfortunately the rep didn't state whether it will be a new colored V9, the black V9x, or something else.
^ Without any definitive proof, I'm guessing that the Moto Rep was talking about V9x. This kinda puts me into a new predicament.
Currently I have a Krzr K1. I love that model but its dying on me, it's time to upgrade to something new. A couple of days ago I got my hands on a good deal for a red mahoggany V9. It's a decent phone but I'm debating on whether I should keep that model, or should I go with the V9x. The V9x will have a much better color, (and the possibility of a better battery) but I don't need GPS and I'm not sure if the extra $ would be worth the upgrade.
Anyone have any specs or rumors on the V9x besides the pics in the other thread, or does anyone else have any opinions on the V9x versus the v9. Thanks... :)

Follow that guide, except for when it comes to the hex editing part where you need to put in /a/mobile/system/cl.gif, put in /a/mobile/cl.gif instead.
