It P2P video simply video calling? That is what we call it here. All our phones for the last 2 years have supported that.Quote:

No, you're right P2P video is the same as video calling. The at&t V9 doesn't support it and I'm guessing the AU V9's seems or firmware will allow us to find out how to unlock that feature in our V9s.Quote:

After reading the posts here and elswhere, it would appear I can make the changes I really want. Enable POP3 email client, flash lights for a missed call, enable full rate transfer, and get rid of all the annoying AT&T branding. Right? :2thumbs:
I was just wondering, before my 30 days run out......... are there any benefits or extras in getting an unbranded V9 vs. the AT&T brand??
Is there an issue with the V9 and being able to use my POP3 email accounts?Quote:

Using Bluetooth:

266 kbit/sec
0.774s latency
31.197s d/l time.again.
Using USB:
Mobile speed test
603 kbit/sec
0.5s latency

Here is the Australian version that just came out today. Nice that you can do video calls with the flip closed (actually the only way to do video calls as no internal camera!)

Searched a bit and could find any posting on this ...
I rely on the alarm clock and usually assign it to one of my home keys - it doesn't show up as an option - the closest I can get is the Tools menu which has the alarm clock on it. I know it's on the "Options" soft key but I'd like to reassign that if I can get it on one of the dpad keys. This isn't just my phone - it's just not available as an item, correct?
It comes up for me on my AU V9. I have set up for alarm.Quote:

I can't seem to find a way to get to other pop3 accounts, ie cox.net, pop.usahosting, etc.., but from what I've learned here - a seem edit will allow enabling a full email client.
Do I have that right? just wondering
Andy when you get a chance could you back up the entire a/ drive and seems 0032, 004a, and 004e?Quote:

I can't quite make out what' below your four-way navigator. Is that the Video key?

The video button is on the left. The button down the bottom is a "Telstra" key which brings up my networks set menu. The phone is branded by "Telstra" however it is not locked to the network. The only branding is that button and a small "Telstra" logo on the back.Quote:
