I have seen different responses to this. Some say yes, that they charge per minute and some say that it only uses your plan minutes.
If it is the case that it only uses your plan minutes, do nights/weekend still apply? ie: will an incoming international call on a weekend still use plan minutes? or will it fall under nights/weekends?

You are only charged your minutes and if you have free nights and weekends and receive an international call during those times, then the call is free.
As long as you are here on a US network and not in some foreign country or roaming on a Canada or Mexico network, your incoming calls regardless of where they come from will go towards your anytime or N&W minutes as they apply.
What would make anyone think that you'd be charged for receiving an international call? That wouldn't make any sense. You didn't initiate the call, and T-Mobile isn't placing the call for you to an international location...those charges logically are absorbed by the party placing the call.
For some strange reason, an inlaw of mine got the idea that she would be charged roaming rates if she answered a call from anyone outside her home calling region. I tried to convince her this was not how it worked but I gave up.Quote:

You are charged for all incoming calls except possibly those from T-Mobile on an official basis. Incoming calls are always charged the same i.e. if it's during the day you're charged "anytime" rates. If it's on weekends your call is no charge if you have free weekends. Likewise if you have free nights there's no charge. Whether it's international or from across the street the rate is the same for incoming calls. The only exception to this is if you're roaming internationally (including Canada and Mexico) you'll pay roaming charges.Quote:
