Wow, great plan. Does Verizon ever offer specials anymore? I know before they went to shared data, they were running a special that would double your data at no extra charge. I haven't seen any type...
It's really a shame how expensive these plans have become. I want to switch to Verizon, but they are so expensive compared to the other carriers. We have 4 smart phones with 2gb's per line, with...
Sprint was always the easiest to get a discount from, but I guess they are wising up.
So many people complain about the slow data, it really makes you wonder if they can really fix all or most of it by years end.
I just wish I had gotten in on one of the older plans. I need 4 lines for my family, share plan for that is $250 a month before taxes. :bulging: I can't believe people are paying these prices. That's...
Ok, thanks. I thought maybe older phones used a different cellular band or something like that. Maybe they need to concentrate less on apps, and more on getting a signal to the phones.
My son who is at college, had to use an older AT&T flip phone for a few days. While he is at work, where he can't even text with his Galaxy Skyrocket, he was able to talk and text on the phone. How...
If you go to their website and shop, it would be the phones that cost the most. If they are LTE, they will say it. There is only a handful so far, so it really isn't that hard to look at them.
Hopefully Sprint doesn't jack their rates up when the network improves. We need a good network at a fair price.
I belong to a Union, and get a 15% discount through Union Plus website. Never had to prove I was a Union member either.
NY and NJ not in the Northeast??? Me thinks you need a geography lesson.
I really don't see the big deal. It is like this...
I really don't see the big deal. It is like this for all the carriers. You can almost always find a better deal at Best Buy, Sams Club, Walmart, Amazon, etc.......
Yes, but for 4 lines with a share plan it is now $250 ish. That is absurd.
Rome wasn't built in a day. Whoever you happen to have for cell service, everyone should be rooting for Sprint to do this right. If they have a strong network, it could force Verizon and AT&T to...
There has to be some shocked people when they get those monthly bills. Four smartphones for $250 a month is just ridiculous. That's before they add the tax in, which then pushes it to over $270 a...
My zip code is 18336. Which is Matamoras PA, which borders NY and NJ. Verizon is really the best around here. They just bought out Cellular ONe of North Eastern PA, which fills a hole in their...
Thanks for the reply. So if it isn't showing a tower where it used to show one, it means that the upgrade there has already been done. I know it isn't LTE yet, but any improvement would be good.
I used to have Sprint, but left due to slow data speeds. I was checking out their site, where you can see their towers and upgrades that have been recently performed. I notice a few towers that were...
This is the where they are getting you. $40 X 4 is getting me at $160 and then add $80 or $90 worth of data, and you have a bill that I can't afford. :goodness:
You can buy all the data you want for the 3 phones, but get your wallet ready.
Verizon is the best in my area, but they are so much more expensive than everyone else. I have a 4 line family plan with AT&T right now, and pay $219 a month taxes and %15 work discount included....
How can you tell which signal you are getting? 800mhz or 1900mhz? I have AT&T.
It is a good area for Verizon. The PA side of things used to have a hole in coverage for Verizon, but they just bought Cellular one of North Eastern PA, and now that coverage hole is filled in.
As...
AT&T is actually pretty good in most of the places we go. We have a Microcell for the house, but sometimes the phones connect to it, and sometimes they don't. I live in a town in NE PA, that borders...
