I tried with multiple Boost reps to do this,with no luck.They said any new phone was considered an upgrade,and 20c would be new rate.The phone I used was a Sprint Taho.I was told even a Boost phone...

Boost activated my Sanyo Taho rugged phone no charge.Its discontinued but I got an unused one on Ebay for 50. Its a gond phone but like all Sprint phones on Boost ,Mms wont allow multimedia. Check...

This flip phone has T9 predictive text for messaging,native browser,contacts,etc.,but it is not available an any Java app,like Opera Mini.
Is there some workaround for this?I checked the JSR specs...

The best answer I have so far is that my phone just doesnt support letting T9 be default text editor in an app but it probably would if the newer XT9 was the text editor that the phone used.

T9 and fonts work fine on phone(messages,native browser),but in a 3rd party app like Opera Mini,predictive text isn't an option in text Fullscreen Edit mode,and the fonts are miniscule.

I activated Sanyo Taho from list.No $10 fee.No Mms multimedia.Paygo increased from 10c to 20c.Otherwise OK.

I went and bought a phone from the list{a unused Sanyo Taho}and tried...

How come all these phones are discontinued models?
Is a prior activation on Sprint a prerequisite for using one of these phones?
In other words you couldn't activate an unused phone from this list?
