That is really weird, I wonder if it's device specific...
Could it be different for white and black?
Yea... That's probably how it works
Selling an Iphone 5 16GB Black unlocked.
Had it for all of 2 weeks. Bored of it... Looking for $500 plus shipping in the continental US.
Any questions please ask
Always document everything you send... In the package and all
You're stuck with 6.1.3 now :(
Is it wrong to say this just isn't worth it? I already have a good iPhone and the new one is out in 2 months, what's some lte during this time? I've lived this long without it, what's another 2...
Not possible... You're either on LTE or edge.
No need to back up, I think I'm replying to you on sinfuliphone forums right now...
Just update and if you want to go back delete the carrier bundles folder in /private/var/mobile/Library/
...
This makes 0 sense now... It seems everything is the same as the unlocked iphone 5 before the t-mobile deal. Why couldn't they just give us an update to enable these bands?
I will trust leimobile's patch... Keeps my carrier at 14.0 and tmobile out of my tethering :)
If you're jailbroken you can add the beta.leimobile.com/repo/ and download the T-Mobile LTE enabler, it has all these functions... It just keeps your carrier at 14.0 so you can use your hotspot...
Anyone that jailbreaks knows that the 5 and 4s can't be downgraded, but your method is not the right one if someone wants to keep their jailbreak.
If you are jailbroken you have 2 options to...
If they are not jailbroken, I agree. It says you have to lose your jailbreak, so you are doubling back and changing what you said...
Edit: Here is what you said quoted:
Read the last line...
The question is with Fabians patch is it worth removing the carrier update?
This is the worst way to fix it... You can go into the system manually and remove the carrier files, everything goes back to before the carrier update. I've done this 3 times now with no issues
...
I've been tethering for 8 years now without a problem... but it seems that may change soon...
So where exactly do I drop each file? Because each time I've done it, it doesn't work right.
And how do you do that?
Edit: I still have the personal hotspot... I assume it's because I'm on a truly unlimited plan.
Where or how do I install it?
Where or how do I install it?
I went through 6 external hard drives to find this:

Enjoy!
Tell me when you download it so I can take it down.
I disagree 808 is night and day better than N8, N8's aren't worth even $100 if you ask me. I use mine as a glorified MP3 player in the gym, not much else and I'm running Belle refresh on it.
No it does not.
