Can't see how Rogers will be allowed to buy Wind when they also purchased an option to purchase Shaw's spectrum. One of them being allowed, maybe but both there is no way.

That's a big assumption in that most users have phones with 850/1900 3G support. Only recently has most of Wind and Mobi's lineup been compatible with the Big 3 3G network but don;t forget Mobi has...
Incorrect. Telus doesn't offer 2G data which means phones without 850/1900 3G won't be able to access any of Telus' current network.
None do in Canada.
Should be a permanent offer.
Should be a permanent offer.
If you weren't planning on switching before, no point in switching now.
Best case scenario is Telus grandfathers the plan on their network.
I think we're missing one point though in that considering Mobi customers bought out their phones and a large aren't cross compatible with Big 3 3G, Telus can't just convert the AWS to LTE without...
Anyone find it interesting, or maybe not, that there is absolutely no mention of Wind Canada other than at the end in a little table with the subscriber numbers and ARPU?
Mobi doesn't have the funds to expand. The coming soon was just a ploy to get Mobi customers that kept complaining about their stagnant network to stop.
Wind has an App Store?

Considering the plan was limited to one city in Canada shouldn't really count. Looking at the big picture that same plan is almost double from the Big 3 for almost any other city.
US: 8GB $300 16GB $350
Canada: 8GB $310 16GB $360
Don't exactly see why just because the cost is marginal Wind couldn't/shouldn't monetize an item.
While I do wish we can finally have nation-wide calling standard, when you already have unlimited...
Google has never announced a Nexus phone at I/O and regardless it's way too soon for the next revision.
A few years is in itself a few years. Wind needs to increase ARPU as soon as possible. It's not like the Big 3 ever cared, can't believe they advertise plans with 150MB.
Wind can easily adjust the...
Wind/Mobi needs to follow T-Mobile here in still offering unlimited in all regards but especially for data have X amount of high speed and then throttled. I realize they do it now, but the cap, dare...
Might help to list the phone.

Anyone know if you can buy them outright or do they force you to sign up for a plan as well?
Amazing price for the N4.
Amazing price for the N4.
Still can't believe how inferior prepaid plans are from all the Big 3 and their flankers.
Unless Wind adds A LOT of additional towers/cell sites in key areas to compensate for the higher frequency but then it doesn't become cost efficient.

It's called Oligopoly.
Surprised there wasn't any non-compete agreement between Wind and the employee considering her position.
