I use an AT&T sim with h20 on an iPhone. It has to be a fresh sim that has never been activated and it will work fine. I have never had a problem.
I have a few i365's with the fixed antenna and they work great.
Yeah same here no data plan for me either. Only thing I was worried about was the recharge problem some ppl had when using an AT&T sim. But I didn't experience that!
Well I'm reading and still don't see anything that I'm worried about lol
Oh yeah.. What kinda horror stories? Haven't heard of anybody having problems.
Switched from an iPhone 3GS to a 4s with an unused AT&T postpaid sim. Did it over the phone without talking to anybody and got going in under 5 minutes!
I already have an account and h2o number. to activate a new phone and sim do I have to actually fill out the "port request form?" it looks like when im logged in and on the activation page it asked...
I have been trying for months for my caller id info to stop coming up as somebody else's name. everytime I get in touch with somebody from customer service they tell me that they have fixed my issue...
I didn't feel like waiting for a sim card to ship. so I went to bestbuy and got an h20 sim and got going right away. it was pretty flawless to get activated with a 3g iphone. but when I had to get in...
Stargate customer service confirmed that they use att gophone coverage. As does pure talk. I dont know why they show the postpaid map for there coverage It's misleading.
Sent from my PC36100...
Mine activated fine online in under ten minutes.

well a rep from stargate told me that you can used any unlocked att phone, and also the map on the website is wrong. they have the same coverage as gophone. on their site they have the post pay map!
looks like they have roaming capability which is something alot of att mvno's don't do. I wonder if you can pop there sim into att phone and be good to go...
according to cellreception reviews tmobile does pretty well there.

I got a 290c on ebay for under 20 bucks and im liking this phone!
yeah you would have to change the ESN or something like that which is illegal. you're better off just getting sprint service. with a new line you'd get the phone for $99.
Really? hmmm the one sprint is selling on their site must be iDen...
the evo 4g has excellent call quality and is a great phone in that regard, pulls a pretty good signal too for a "smartphone" only problem I can really complain about it the 4g part is pretty bad! it...
That is good to know! thanks for that info. im sure there are alot of people that are gonna be jumping on this phone when it is released!
if you absolutely need verizon where you live, you have limited options with straight talk. I have a 290c and its pretty good for a dumb phone, I only have a cdma for a backup cuz verizon is reliable...
they don't have any smartphones that use verizon either so be prepared to be disappointed in their CDMA selection if that is what you're expecting.
also you can block DC entirely through the "profiles" option.
it looks like my number is still registered as a sprint owned number. some reverse lookup sites even tell me that its a registered landline!
my other number that I ported to page plus and then to At&t shows up correctly... :befuddled
